One of my pilots had trouble with completing a flight today. He landed, taxied, and shut down at the gate. VAFS showed him as still taxiing to the gate and he could not end the flight.

I looked at his client over teamviewer and the right edge of the screen was actually blocking any of the information/buttons in the client status view for flights.

I reimbursed the pilot for his work but I am afraid this will happen in the future. Any help?

You can also end the flight by shutting down your engines at the gate.

In the new client, it will make it so that the CEO will chose the end flight variables, such as engine shutdown/ parking brake set/ or both.

Hi ,
I've had kinda similar bug several times now. After a flight, after touch down or during taxi to the gate,(after setting parking brakes and shutting down engines !) it seems that VAFS somehow freezes. I get an error notification: "VAFS has generated errors. An error log has been created and you may continue the flight". It still shows as "taxi to gate" and all other data correctly. It can only be opened(unlocked) by shutting down FS, but the flight can't be saved then. Only way I've been able to unfreeze VAFS  is by restarting FS. It will let you save the current data then, meaning that some data of the flight will have changed:
AC:default Cessna
Flight time: as flown
Landing rate:0.00
Fuel consumption: 100 %

It will let you save the flight and register your hrs. with wrong AC, LR and fuelconsumption. I've also noticed that the hrs. of these flights(with VAFS freezing) although registered are not accumulated in the monthly total.

I have no clue what causes VAFS to freeze. It behaves normally during the whole flight.
Anyone familiar with this bug ?? I've seen this post http://www.vafinancials.com/forums/index.php?topic=1272.0
Has the patch been released??
Help appreciated, thx.

I have add on scenery installed. I think most of us have. Apparently some of us experience this problem and some not. It also happens when flying into airports without using add on scenery. So to be honest, I don't think this issue is related to add on scenery.
So what's the status of the patch ? This bug has been reported quite some time ago.

Hi I surely wouldn't wanna see Mike to do that.
This bug has been reported quite some time ago. Since we fly for AFRKLMVA and almost all of us use the Netherlands 2000 Scenery it's quite an annoying bug. We are also in the process of awarding pilots based on the pilot stats of the month, but with this bug these stats become unreliable.
So i really do hope this will be resolved soon.
Thx.
